At the Nwu-Puk-Rugbyinstituut Skole Skouspel in Potchefstroom on Thursday, 21 March 2013, Women's Day, Garsfontein of Pretoria had a big win over Glenwood of Durban.

There were also big wins for HTS Louis Botha of Bloemfontein and Noord-Kaap of Kimberley.

Altogether 12 teams are taking part in this demanding tournament - HTS Drostdy (Worcester), Florida, Framesby (Port Elizabeth), Garsfontein (Pretoria), Glenwood (Durban), Klerksdorp, HTS Louis Botha (Bloemfontein), Noord-Kaap (Kimberley), Potchefstroom Gimnasium, Potchefstroom Volkskool, Rustenburg and Transvalia (Vanderbijlpark).
