Riversdale goes to Paarl

Paarl Gim have been one of South Africa's top rugby achievers for several years now in any measurable way. This year they are currently ranked third on the Schools Top 20 while, unusually, Oakdale are not there at all.

Paarl Gim have almost been playing in a different league from Oakdale. They have played against five teams ranked on the Top 20, Oakdale against two.

Gim have lost just one of their eight matches - 31-19 to Grey Bloem. They have beaten Affies, Paul Roos, Stellenberg and Waterkloof. Oakdale lost to Drostdy and Monument.

Both Gimmies and Oakdale have played and beaten Garsfontein, Gim 46-17 and Oakdale 40-19.

It will be an enthusiastic day's rugby with a 1st XV match well wroth the watching. It will be streamed live.
