Rondebosch on a roll

Rondebosch travelled to the KES Easter festival and then on to Namibia and returned home unbeaten.

The Cape side beat DHS and then drew with hosts KES in Johannesburg before going north of the border and winning all three of the matches in Namibia.

It was a very successful tour in all aspects. Both the touring schedule and the fixtures were very demanding, but the Bosch team played some good rugby in tough conditions and were good ambassadors for the school.

In total the Rondebosch team scored 129 points and conceded just 34, scoring 18 tries and conceding 4 in the process while Yaseen Jacobs ended as the top scorer with 38 points.

Results:

v DHS, 20-8

v KES, 10-10

v Tsumeb, 27-13

v Elnatan, 27-3

v HTS Windhoek, 47-0
