SA Schools beat Italy

Match Report

At Vodacom Park in Bloemfontein on Saturday afternoon, South African Schools beat Italy Under-18 39-13. At half-time the home side led 8-3.

The winners scored five tries to one and were undoubtedly the stronger and better side. It was only the courage of the Italians that kept the score manageable.

This was the second match of the Italians' tour. They beat Pretoria Boys High 25-10 and next play the Golden Lions on Tuesday and South African Schools A on Friday in Witbank.
