School festivals and other results
WEEKEND UPDATE: Schools results continued to throw up some big surprises.
This pasty weekend it was Rondebosch's turn, as they ended Wynberg's unbeaten run with a 49-27 victory at Wynberg.
Affies also made a statement with their 43-21 win over Paarl Boishaai at the Kimberley festival.
The festival had the usual powerhouses stepping forward - Paul Roos beating Monument 29-27 and Maritzburg 48-0.
Paarl Gim also did the double in Kimberley - beating EG Jansen 36-33 and Helpmekaar 31-10.
Grey College also won both their matches in Kimberley - beating Maritzburg College 46-0 and Garsfontein 38-10.
Grey High won both matches at their own festival - 33-15 over St John's and 29-7 against Graeme College.
