Schools Action in NZ

Four international schools teams are in action in New Zealand on Saturdsay - New Zealand Schools, Australian Schools, Fijian Schools and New Zealand Barbarians Schools.


There are four changes to the New Zealand Secondary Schools team that beat Fiji 58-0 on Tuesday.


Shaun Stevenson was injured in the match and is replaced by Caleb Makene from New Zealand Barbarians Schools who starts on the bench.


Other changes to the team include Shaun Stodart in the front row and Ereatara Enari wearing the number 10 jersey. The back line has also been re-jigged because of Stevenson’s injury, and Jonah Lowe will start on the wing.

NZ Barbarians Schools play Fiji Schools in the first match on Saturday. The home side can take lots of confidence from Tuesday's 39-21q over Australian Schools while the Fijians will want to do a lot better after their 50-10 and 58-0 druibbing by Auistralian and NZ Schools.
