Probably the surprising result of the day was Hudson Park's victory over St Andrew's - surprising but after all both are in the pressure group under those ranked on the FNB Top 20.
Except for Boland Landbou whose loss was no disgrace, all the Top 20 teams in action won - Dale, Monument and Paarl Boys' High.
A try in the last minute enabled Rondebosch to win their FNB Classic Clash.
Now it is about Craven Week, and on Saturday Free State Schools beat Griqua Schools 40-15.
