Selborne, beaten last week by Queen's suffered a second defeat this week, this time at the hands of Dale, meaning that they have lost both matches to their ancient rivals from up the road and into the mountains.
A penalty at the end of the match gave Nelspruit and interesting win over Dr EG Jansen whose only previous defeat in seven matches was a one-point loss to Glenwood. Nelspruit carry on winning.
After six matches, Garsfontein had lost only to Dr EG Jansen and numbered Outeniqua and Paarl Gim amongst their scalps but this week they were well beaten by Monnas.
Monnas and Nelspruit will now meet in the Final of the Tuks Series.
On the topic of carrying on winning, Paarl Boys' High's first XV has now gone 27 matches without defeat.
SACS spent their second successive week playing out at Paarl. This week it was against Paarl Gim who are ranked sixth on the Schools Top 20, and Gimmies battled to win by just three points.
