Schools results - August 9
Several of South Africa's top schools were again in action and there were five Classic Clashes.
Probably the biggest matches of the day were the Classic Clash in Kimberley and Monnas against the Rooi Bulle of Middelburg.
But there were also Dr EG Jansen vs Menlopark and Nelspruit vs Kempies. Just one point confirmed Glenwood as the top side in KwaZulu-Natal this year.
Diamantveld won in Kimberley, Outeniqua on Struisiedag, Klein Nederburg in Paarl and Gill College in Cradock.
Then there was the oldest match in the land - SACS versus Bishops at Bishops and the Queenstown clash which Queen's College won and the ancient rivalry on the Border, won by Selborne.
