Union High's Rugby Festival

In beautiful Graaff-Reinet

Union High of Graaff-Reinet is holding its annual rugby Festival on Saturday 1 April and Monday 3 April.

There will be a dozen fortunate schools taking part in the Jewel of the Little Karroo. Most of them are from the Eastern Cape, but Stellenbosch High School are up from Matieland and Willowridge down from Pretoria.

Muir College of Uitenhage promise to have a good season after beating Selborne College at the Graeme Rugby Day.

Of the other schools Gill College are from Somerset East, recently 29-0 victors over Langenhoven Gimnasium of Oudtshoorn, Stirling and Cambridge are from East London, and Hoërskool Andrew Rabie are from Port Elizabeth.

Volkskool are Union High's close neighbours and rivals in Graaff-Reinet.

The matches for the second day are drawn up after the first day's play to get good matches.
