Schools Top 20 - May 10
Their record-breaking score of Affies has rushed them up the Schools Top 20. The only debate was whether they would be first or second. We settled for second place only because they, unbeaten, have played two top sides fewer than Paarl Boys' High, a story which has an important chapter to come.
Paarl Gim's huge victory over Wynberg has moved them up a place, proud as we are of Glenwood's victories in Japan.
Jeppe had a big win while Garsies just lost to Dr EG Jansen, and Grey High and Queen's swap places.
Lower down, Boland Landbou leap up the ladder after their big win against Rondebosch while Helpies come up for their win over Ben Vorster.
Three sides come into the pressure group - Die Brandwag, HTS Drostdy and Welkom Gimnasium.
Here is an interesting set of results that show how a single victory or defeat is not conclusive.
