Cheetahs scraped together Currie Cup team

TEAM UPDATE: Free State Cheetahs Daan Human has again been forced to scrape together a Currie Cup starting XV for their trip to Kimberley.

Human named his team on Thursday, however, due to injuries to the Pro14 side, the coach was forced to revise the team that will take on Griquas on Saturday.

In the front row, Gunther Janse van Vuuren is replaced by Stephan van Schalkwyk at tighthead prop. Abongile Nonkontwana moves from flank to lock while Louis Conradie completes the lock partnership.

Nardus comes in at flank in place of Nonkontwana.

On the bench, Reinhardt Erwee takes the spot of utility back Ryno Eksteen, who has also been called up to the PRO14 team.
