Bok scrumhalf back to lead Golden Lions

TEAM ANNOUNCEMENT: Golden Lions head coach Ivan van Rooyen has revealed his team to face the Sharks in a Currie Cup Round Six clash in Durban on Saturday.

Springbok scrumhalf Ross Cronje is back to lead the Johannesburg-based team.

Cronje was one of the Boks released by the Springbok management this week. The 29-year-old was on the bench during South Africa's 36-34 win over the All Blacks in Wellington last weekend.

In the other changes to the Lions' starting line-up that lost 38-65 to Western Province, Pieter Jansen will start at hooker with Corne Fourie dropping down to the bench.

Johannes Jonker is also back at tighthead, while Jacobie Adriaanse will play off the bench.

The Golden Lions are currently sitting in second place in the Currie Cup standings with three wins from four matches.

The Sharks are still unbeaten with three wins from three matches and they are in fourth place.
