Cheetahs v Barcelona Diables - Teams and Prediction
SPOTLIGHT: Cheetahs head coach Hawies Fourie has revealed his team to face Barcelona Diables in Bloemfontein on Wednesday.
It is a completely changed team to the one that lost 30-31 to Western Province over the weekend.
"Before the start of the Toyota Challenge, we decided that we will give the whole squad a run. So, we selected this team more than a week ago to play against the Diables." said Fourie.
"After Wednesday’s match, we’ll decide about the Sharks and Baia Mare games.
"For me it is just worth it to give everyone game time, to see where you stand with all the players and to get them match-fit and ready for the Currie Cup.
"We are disappointed in our performance against Western Province and we want to lift the standards and play decent rugby.
"It is an opportunity for the guys playing tomorrow to put up their hands and to show what they can do."
Cheetahs captain Teboho Mohoje added: "I believe that we prepped well for a team that we don’t necessarily know, but we’ll go out there and express ourselves the best way we know how and play our brand of rugby.
"We’ll be focusing on ourselves."
