Lions reveal team for Sharks clash

TEAM ANNOUNCEMENT: Golden Lions head coach Ivan van Rooyen has unveiled his team to face the Sharks in a Currie Cup Round Six clash in Johannesburg on Sunday.

There is one change to backline with Manni Rass starting in the midfield with Wandisile Simelane.

In the pack, James Venter takes over the No.6 jersey from Marnus Schoeman, who drops down to the bench.

Wilhelm van der Sluys comes into the second row in place of Reinhard Nothnagel and in the front row Frans van Wyk will make his debut for the Golden Lions.

Van Wyk comes in for Johannes Jonker, who has a calf injury.

Loose forward Cyle Brink is back after recovering from a broken wrist and has been included on the bench.

*Meanwhile, The Lions Rugby Company announced that scrumhalf Dillon Smit, loose forward Hacjivah Dayimani and hooker Pieter Jansen have all renewed their contracts with the Lions.
