RECAP: Sharks v Pumas
READERS’ FORUM: Welcome to our coverage of the Currie Cup match between the Sharks and the Pumas in Durban.
The Sharks have made their intentions clear. They are going to use brute force to squash the Pumas.
Jeremy Ward will lead a team that includes World Cup-winning Springbok prop Thomas du Toit and has former Junior Bok Juan van der Mescht – a regular lock – on the flank.
Pumas coach Jimmy Stonehouse, who was forced into making six changes, believes the conditions are playing a big part in the hosts’ team selections.
