CURRIE CUP ROUND ONE: The season got off to a low-key start, with just two matches and three teams on byes.

It was literally a two-horse race - with both the Blue Bulls and Pumas winning comfortably.

The Blue Bulls defeated the Free State Cheetahs 34-12 in Bloemfontein for an invaluable away-win, while the Pumas outplayed Griquas 42-19 in Nelspruit.

It is not surprising these two teams dominate the famous @rugby365com weekly selection.

The Bulls and Pumas 'share' the spoils - with six players each in our team.
