He was issued with a red card in the match at Stade Pierre-Antoine.

 

Willemse was sent off by referee, Wayne Barnes (England), for charging into a ruck with his shoulder in the 61st minute of the match in contravention of Law 10.4 (h).

 

David Martin (Ireland), Chairman, Hugh Logan (Ireland) and Jean-Philippe Lachaume (France) have been appointed as the independent Disciplinary Committee for the hearing which will take place in London on Wednesday.

Law 10.4 (h) Charging into a ruck or a maul without use of the arms or without grasping a player

Under World Rugby's Sanctions for Foul Play, Law 10.4 (h), carries the following sanction entry points - Low End: two weeks; Mid-Range: five weeks; Top End: 10 to 52 weeks.
