Bulls' Bok missing year-end Euro trip

NEWS: Bulls Director of Rugby Jake White has named his 34-player touring squad for the end-of-year-tour to Ireland and England.

The Bulls come up against Connacht in Round Seven of the United Rugby Championship in the west of Ireland and then travel South East to Saracens where they'll kick off their 2025 Champions Cup campaign at Copthall Stadium on the Hendon-Mill Hill borders in London.

The squad features a balance of seasoned campaigners and the returning Springboks from the recently concluded Nations Series in the northern hemisphere.

There are notable returns for Johan Goosen and Jannes Kirsten who missed out on the three week tour pre-international break.

The tour party also includes Deon Slabbert who returns to the Bulls on a short-term stint whilst Reinhardt Ludwig and captain Ruan Nortje nurse their injuries.

Ludwig picked up a strain during the three-week tour preluding the Nations Series, where Nortje sustained his injury while on national duty.

From his previous stint, Slabbert has six Bulls appearances to his name across the United Rugby Championship and Champions Cup and will remain with the side until the end of the year.
