DISCIPLINARY NEWS: Montpellier lock Jacques du Plessis faces a disciplinary hearing after being sent off during his team's 30-27 win over Gloucester on Sunday.
The South African lock received a red card from referee, George Clancy in the 56th minute of the match for striking the Gloucester second row, Gerbrandt Grobler with his arm in contravention of Law 9.12.
Antony Davies (England), Chair, David Martin (Ireland) and John Doubleday (England), have been appointed as the independent Disciplinary Committee for the hearing which will take place at the London office of Bird & Bird LLP on Wednesday, November 27.
Meanwhile, La Rochelle hooker Pierre Bourgarit, who was issued with a red card at the weekend, and Ulster fullback Will Addison also face disciplinary hearings on Wednesday.
Bourgarit was sent off by the referee, Andrew Brace during his team's match against the Sale Sharks. The hooker left the field in the 38th minute of the match for making contact with the eye area of the Sale Sharks flank, Tom Curry, in contravention of Law 9.12.
While EPCR has received a citing complaint against Addison, arising from his club's Champions Cup, Round 2 match against ASM Clermont Auvergne at the Kingspan Stadium on Friday.
Addison is alleged to have committed an act of foul play in that he tackled the Clermont second row, Paul Jedrasiak (No 4), in a dangerous manner in the 31st minute of the match in contravention of Law 9.13.
