Bayonne winger has analysed the Welsh challenge

Record-breaking Argentina winger Jose Maria Nuñez Piossek is expecting another tough encounter against Wales in the second and final Test in Buenos Aires on Saturday.

The Pumas narrowly won the first Test 27-25 in Puerto Madryn last Sunday and Nuñez Piossek is anticipating a backlash from the tourists, much like in 2004 when Wales won the second Test 35-20 in Buenos Aires to draw the series.

"Rivals are analysed in the first game and teams go for it in the second duel," said Nuñez Piossek.

"We know that because we experienced that in 2004, when we beat them in the first Test and they were tougher in the second. We haven't forgotten that. Both sides will look for the weakest points of their opponents."

"We must synchronise our movements and turn defence into the team's attacking weapon.

"They're not used to our tackles very low in the body, they bother them, they feel uncomfortable with them."

Nuñez Piossek scored his 29th try for his country in the first Test, to become the Pumas leading try scorer of all time - an achievement which he is immensely proud of.

"Entering into history makes me feel full of pride. With all the extraordinary players who have played for the Pumas, I cannot believe I managed to achieve this.

"I love to score tries, I always have the tryline in my mind. I catch the ball and focus on there, not looking at anything else but a try."

The Bayonne winger insists a series victory over their European rivals is important for the future of Argentinian rugby, which has been making headlines off the field of late due a players strike which has starved coach Marcelo Loffreda of many of his first-choice internationals.

"We set the goal to win the series against Wales for us, for rugby people, for young players and for the future," he ended.

"We must win and demonstrate that the Pumas can do it."
