Bok in the dock after Premiership's violent weekend

DISCIPLINARY UPDATE: Four players will face disciplinary hearings this week, after a particularly back weekend for the Premiership.

Ted Hill (Worcester Warriors), Tom Penny (Newcastle Falcons), Rohan Janse van Rensburg (Sale Sharks) and Dan Kelly (Leicester Tigers) will all appear before disciplinary panels this week.

Hill and Kelly will have their hearings on Tuesday, while Penny and Van Rensburg on Wednesday.

Hill was sent off by referee Andrew Jackson in the 75th minute of the match between Gloucester and Worcester Warriors on Saturday, October 2.

This was for a tip tackle contrary to World Rugby Law 9.18.

Penny was sent off by referee Anthony Woodthorpe in the 49th minute of the match between Newcastle Falcons and Wasps on Saturday, October 2.

This was for contact with the eye area, contrary to World Rugby Law 9.12.

Van Rensburg was sent off by referee Craig Maxwell-Keys in the 53rd minute of the match between Sale Sharks and Exeter Chiefs on Sunday, October 3.

This was for dangerous tackling contrary to World Rugby Law 9.13.

Kelly was cited by independent citing commissioner Duncan Bell following the match between Leicester Tigers and Saracens on Saturday, October 2.

This was for striking with shoulder contrary to World Rugby Law 9.12.

The disciplinary panel on Tuesday, October 5, will be chaired by Mike Hamlin - with Rob Vickerman and one other panel member to be confirmed.

The disciplinary panels on Wednesday, October 6, will be chaired by James Dingemans - with Mitch Read and one other panel member to be confirmed.
