Charlie Chapman commits to Gloucester
NEWS: Gloucester Rugby announced that Charlie Chapman has penned a new deal to stay at Kingsholm.
Gloucester through and through, the 23-year-old is a product of the Gloucester Rugby Academy and is a fine example of the production line of talent coming through the Club.
Having made 38 appearances and scoring 32 points, Chapman is a key member of the first team and has an energy and work ethic that really motivates the rest of the squad.
George Skivington is delighted to have Charlie stay at the club.
“I am delighted that Charlie Chapman has signed on with us. He is exactly what Gloucester Rugby is about and having grown up watching from the stands to now playing out at Kingsholm, he knows how much this club means to the community and the fans.
“I’m looking forward to continuing to work with him as he continues his development and career in Cherry and White.”
Chief Operating Officer Alex Brown is pleased to have the home-grown talent sign on.
“It’s always special when local players come up through the pathway and make it into the first team. Charlie is a great example of this and I am looking forward to seeing him push on and excel as he continues to play for Gloucester Rugby.”
