Cipriani shuts down Gloucester exit
TRANSFER NEWS: Gloucester and flyhlaf Danny Cipriani have finally shut down all the speculation as he signed a new contract with the English Premiership club.
Cipriani, 31, joined Gloucester from Wasps on a two-year deal last May, but had recently been linked with a move to Bristol, Bath or Toulon.
Gloucester were forced to deny there was a break clause in Cipriani's contract.
After being left out of England's Six Nations squad, there appeared to be renewed interest from a number of clubs in Cipriani, with several from overseas.
"It's official! We are delighted to announce that @DannyCipriani87 has signed an extended deal with the Cherry and Whites," Gloucester said on their official Twitter account.
Cipriani insisted last month that he has not given up on an England recall and was prepared for his "biggest challenge yet".
