England international joins Saracens

TRANSFER NEWS: Hooker Joe Gray has joined Saracens on a deal until the end of the season.

The 30-year-old trained with the Men in Black during pre-season before signing a short-term contract with Northampton Saints as injury cover.

Gray began his career at Saints before switching to Harlequins in 2010, making over 150 appearances for the London club in eight years.

The Nottingham-born man helped Quins to their first Premiership title and went on to represent England, coming off the bench against New Zealand.

Adding experience to the squad, Gray will also provide competition in the front row.
