'Excellent crowd' add to Saints test

Sale Sharks boss Kingsley Jones says he was hugely impressed with the Northampton Saints' performance against Munster in the Heineken Cup two weeks ago and it looking forward to taking them on come Saturday afternoon.

Naming his side on Friday, Jones said it was always tough going to Franklin's Gardens but insisted that he was confident that his team would be up to the challenge.

The Sharks themselves come into the match fresh off a confidence boosting win over Cardiff last weekend in Europe.

"They were excellent in everything they did that day. They have a fantastic venue and the crowd really get behind them.

"They are well coached by Jim Mallinder and Dorian West and we are expecting a tough game. On saying that we have had a good week preparing for the challenge and are looking forward to the game."
