Harlequins see off Exeter for first win of the season

PREMIERSHIP REPORT: The Harlequins recorded their first win of the season with a 22-14 victory over Exeter Chiefs at Twickenham Stoop on Sunday.

The Harlequins outscored the opponents by three tries to two in the match.

The hosts opened the scoring with a Jack Kenningham try before Exeter responded with a score from Ehren Painter.

However, tries from Louis Lynagh and Will Joseph helped Harlequins record a 19-7 lead at the break.

A Dan Frost try for Exeter ensured a nervy finish for the hosts, but they wrapped things up with a late Will Edwards penalty.
