Lions lock heads to Cheetahs

The 23-year-old Du Preez represented the Falcons at the Under-18 Craven Week before making his way to the Golden Lions in 2013.

He immediately proved to be a formidable force in the Golden Lions U19 set-up; bagging 13 caps and helping the side to a U19 Provincial Championship trophy.

Du Preez, who stands at more than 2m tall, made his Super Rugby debut in 2015 against the Sharks and became the tallest players to ever play in the competition.
