It's a Pro12 Ball for Jake

Scarlets will look to take their home form with them Friday, when they face Glasgow at the Scotstoun Stadium.

Despite their unbeaten home record at in the Pro12 throughout 2014 the Scarlets will look for their first victory on the road this season and will be looking to put their travel woes behind them.

A 22-10 win over the Ospreys at Parc y Scarlets last weekend saw Scarlets retain their seventh position on the Pro12 table and keep their top four campaign alive.

Jake Ball, who has recently announced a new National Dual Contract which sees him staying with the Scarlets, said: "To get the win was fantastic. There has been a brilliant mood here.

"Since I have been here we have not beaten the Ospreys.

"We spoke during the week about out-performing your opposite number and I think we achieved that."

The 23-year-old is only too aware of his team's record away from home and when asked what is the difference about winning at home and not winning away he said:"It is a mindset, getting it right away from home.

"It is a case of us getting ourselves amped up, it is for us to lose I think. We know if we beat Glasgow it sets up us for the season."

Scarlets are currently in seventh position on the Pro12 table and will take on second placed Glasgow. Ball went on to say: "The Pro12 is wide open, Connacht's win has opened that table up, a lot lies on this weekend and us getting that win.

"We are in a reasonable position, we have done well at home, and it would be nice to get a few wins away from home. I think as soon as we get that win it will break the mould as well," he added.
