'Judgement Day closest to international rugby' - Ball
Speaking exclusively to Rugby World magazine, Ball, who is no stranger to electrifying atmospheres and huge crowds at the Principality Stadium, previewed his side's huge Welsh derby clash against Newport Gwent Dragons on Saturday, April 30.
"Judgement Day is the closest you're going to get to playing in an international game and for our young players it's invaluable experience," said the 18-Test second row.
Scarlets' opposition at Judgement Day were defeated by French side Montpellier on the weekend in the semi final of the Challenge Cup, but Ball believes they will be a formidable force.
"They're extremely difficult to break down, they have plenty of talent in the shape of Taulupe Faletau, Hallam Amos and Tyler Morgan," he explained.
"The game against the Dragons is vitally important for the league.
"We cut the season down into blocks and set ourselves targets, one of which was to make the play-offs.
"We want to win but play in a style befitting of the Scarlets and I can't wait to get out there.”
