Ospreys go top as Munster slip

Ospreys surged to the top of the Pro12 with a superb 31-20 home win over Ulster while Munster went down 18-21 away to Glasgow Warriors.

A double by Rhys Webb and tries from Dan Bigger and Hanno Dirksen was enough to see the Welsh outfit claim a bonus point victory which saw them jump from third to first on the log.

Ulster were much improved in the final 15 minutes as Rob Herring and Tommy Bowe went over, but Dirksen got the vital fourth try to extend Ospreys' home record to eight consecutive league wins.

*In Glasgow, the second row combination of Leone Nakarawa and Jonny Gray helped extend Glasgow Warriors' home winning streak in a hard-fought win over Munster.

An attritional first half was book ended by tries from Munster's JJ Hanrahan and Robin Copeland although Finn Russell's three penalties kept Glasgow in touch.

Nakarawa went over early in the second period to narrow the deficit before Hanrahan missed a pair of penalties and Gray crossed with less than ten minutes to go, to give the hosts a hard-earned win.

It stretched the Warriors' winning run at Scotstoun to 13 league matches.
