Paterson guns down Munster
Edinburgh recorded a vital 12-7 victory over Munster at Murrayfield thanks to four Chris Paterson penalties on Friday evening in their Magners League clash.
The Scottish province led 9-0 at the break and despite a determined fightback from the the visitors, they held on to record a big victory.
Irish flank David Wallace grabbed the second half try for Munster after 52 minutes, temporarily cutting the gap to just two points, but Paterson stepped up minutes later to extend the gap to the winning margin of five points.
