The Cheetahs previously announced that Gerhard Olivier has hung up his boots due to a serious neck injury. A knee injury forced Justin Basson to end his professional career.
Basson was a stalwart in 14 Currie Cup- and 25 PRO14 matches for the men in orange. After 12 Currie Cup matches, including a Currie Cup win, and 21 RO14 games, flyhalf Louis Fouche retired from rugby and will be starting a business in Port Elizabeth.
Commenting on the departure, Cheetah Head Coach Hawies Fourie says: “We wish all our departing players all the best for the future.
"I would like to thank them for their contributions both on and off the field.”
