The full Halfpenny is back
REACTION: Wales fullback Leigh Halfpenny scored 11 points in the Scarlets' 43-21 victory over the Cheetahs on Sunday in his first game in three months.
The 30-year-old has not played a competitive match since being concussed following a late tackle from Samu Kerevi during Wales' win over Australia in Cardiff on November 10.
"Leigh took a little bump early on and it was great to see him play through that. He will be much the better for playing 80 minutes," Scarlets coach Wayne Pivac told BBC Sport Wales.
"It has been frustrating but we will put it behind us and he had a very tidy game for someone who has been out for that length of time," he added.
The 84-time international played the full game a day after witnessing Wales' triumph over England in the Six Nations.
Liam Williams wore the Welsh number 15 shirt in a man of the match performance in Cardiff.
Halfpenny's return could cause a selection conundrum for Warren Gatland ahead of travelling to Scotland in the Six Nations as Wales look to stay on course for a first Grand Slam since 2012.
