Warriors win well in Wales
Glasgow bounced back to winning ways on Saturday night with an impressive 21-5 victory over the Blues in their Magners League matchup at the Cardiff City Stadium.
Leading 11-0 at the break, the Warriors subjected the Blues to their fourth loss of the new season and got themselves back on the right side of the scoreline for the first time in three weeks after defeats to the Dragons and the Ospreys.
Flyhalf Dan Parks was once again the chief provider, scoring 11 points for the visitors, including three successful penalties and a second half conversion.
It took just five minutes for the Warriors to go into the lead with Parks slotting his first three pointer from the kicking tee for Sean Lineen's men.
The Scottish No.10 added his second penalty 12 minutes later but the match, as expected was always a tight contest.
It was only in injury time of the first half that the Warriors finally put themselves in control - star wing Thom Evans scored the first try of the match and helped the visitors go into half time brimming with confidence.
The second half followed a similar pattern to the first with Parks starting the scoring with a penalty early on.
With 16 minutes left then the game was all but wrapped up as No.8 Johnnie Beattie crashed over for the Warriors, helping to put them 21-0 up with time running out.
To their credit the Blues kept coming - playing with passion if not precision. Their efforts were rewarded eight minutes from time as young flank Sam Warburton went over for a consolation try.
