SA drawn in NZ pool

Defending champions New Zealand and South Africa, second on the 2010/11 standings, were drawn in the same pool for the second leg of the 2011/12 IRB Sevens World Series.

The series opened when Fiji beat New Zealand in the Gold Coast Final on Saturday, with the pool draw for next week's Round Two - in Dubai - made before the Final on the Gold Coast.

The Fijians will face island rivals Samoa and New Zealand are set to play South Africa in two of many eye-catching clashes on Day One.
