Yachvili shares expertice with new No.9

Yachvili won 61 caps for France and was part of four French teams that won the Six Nations - most memorably scoring a try in the clinching victory over England in 2004.

And now Yachvili, who retired in 2014, has started working with Serin, particularly on his goal-kicking, as the former France Under-20 star looks to establish himself with Les Bleus

Serin told Rugbyrama: "We met by accident through a journalist. Since then we've worked together and it's going really well.

"I've been lucky to see him each week, every Thursday. We work on the pitch and I go through the games with him as well.

"He's very demanding [on the goal-kicking] and that's what I ask of him. Kicking is an area that requires a lot of precision and he's given me a lot.

"He advised me on the position of my shoulders and lots of other little details which ensure a kick is made. He also has a vision of the position of scrumhalf and we can discuss every area.

"He's naturally very calm and is trying to pass that on. He has a quiet strength and always seems to give an impression of calm and confidence. That allows me to lean on him."
