SIX NATIONS: France suffer setback ahead of Ireland clash

INJURY UPDATE: Scrumhalf Morgan Parra will miss France's Six Nations match against champions Ireland through injury, the French Rugby Federation (FFR) announced.

Parra is replaced in Jacques Brunel's squad by Toulouse's seven-time international Sebastien Bezy after he suffered a thigh problem which forced him to pull out of Clermont's league fixture on Saturday.

Parra, along with club teammate Camille Lopez, was dropped for the victory over Scotland and they were released back for Top 14 action.

Bezy, 27, last played for Les Bleus in 2016 under former coach Guy Noves who is taking legal action against the FFR for alleged unfair dismissal.

Prop Uini Atonio is also unavailable for the trip to Dublin on Sunday and Racing92 front-rower Cedate Gomes Sa, who has made nine international appearances, takes his place.

Atonio has not featured for France since the loss to Wales on February 1 due to a knee issue.
