Stormers lose their flyhalf

The 22-year-old playmaker underwent scans on Monday, which revealed that he has a bone stress injury to the pubic bone, complicating the recovery from his groin strain.

Du Plessis was the starting flyhalf in the Stormers' first two games of the season.

The Cape side started their campaign with a 37-24 win over the Bulls before edging the Jaguares 32-25.

There were no new injuries sustained in the 41-10 Round Three victory against the Southern Kings in Port Elizabeth.
