Bulls discard joins Cheetahs

The wing, Obi, agreed to a two-year deal with the Bloemfontein-based franchise.

Obi was included in the South Africa Under-20 side that competed at the 2013 Junior World Championship.

He scored four tries in his five appearances and finished joint-second in the try-scoring chart.

He joined the Bulls late in 2015 after just one season with the Kings.

However, he only played in two matches for the union in the Currie Cup qualifiers last year, due to injury, and missed a large chunk of the season.

The 23-year-old will be available immediately for the Cheetahs.
