Milner-Skudder set for Super Rugby return

The All Black has been out of action since March 10 when he suffered a few toe fractures in his team's 18-26 defeat to the Chiefs.

However, according to stuff.co.nz, Milner-Skudder has flown to Perth to join the Hurricanes squad, who beat the Bulls 34-20 in Pretoria in Round 14.

If Milner-Skudder does get game time it will be just his third appearance of the season.

Milner-Skudder will likely replace wing Wes Goosen in the Hurricanes squad for the match against the Force.

Hurricanes head coach Chris Boyd said Goosen suffered either a should or a rib injury in the match against the Bulls.

Ardie Savea and lock Mark Abbott both left the field with head knocks in Pretoria and are unlikely to feature this week.

Star flyhalf Beauden Barrett was a late withdrawel from the match against the Bulls after suffering 'mystery headaches'.

Barrett had taken a blow to his head in the 61-7 victory over the Cheetahs in Wellington on May 20, but had passed a concussion test at the time.

The Hurricanes will name their side on Thursday.
