Reds boss Thorn dumps another one

Just a few hours ago it was revealed that Copper is not training with the Reds and has been told he has no place in the franchise's future plans.

The same has been told to scrumhalf Nick Frisby, according to New Zealander Thorn.

Frisby has struggled for form throughout 2017, falling behind James Tuttle during Nick Stiles' tenure as coach.

It seems the decision to cut the two has come easy for Thorn, especially with the likes of young gun Hamish Stewart and Duncan Paia’aua in the squad.

"I’ve had honest conversations with Quade Cooper and Nick Frisby about where they currently sit in our plans for 2018," he said.

"They’re not training with the Reds at the moment and will be training with their clubs instead,"
