Lions suffer big blow ahead of Super Rugby

An MRI scan confirmed that he had torn his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL)

Skosan was a key member of the Lions' Super Rugby campaign last year, which helped him earn selection in Allister Coetzee's Springbok squad.

He made his debut against France at Loftus Versfeld in June.

The Lions begin their Super Rugby campaign against the Sharks at Ellis Park on February 17.
