Kiri Kiri was given a yellow card during the Blues' 34-41 defeat to the Highlanders in Dunedin after a dangerous tackle on Lima Sopoaga.

SANZAAR released a statement stating: "Kiri Kiri is alleged to have contravened Law 9.12 - Physically abusing a player by striking them with his head.

"The 26-year-old will appear before a judicial committee of Michael Heron QC, David Croft and Det Wet Barry at a video conference,"
