Bulls hold out hope for their captain

Regular captain Burger Odendaal missed his team's trip to Argentina last weekend due to a rib injury. The Bulls went down 24-54 against the Jaguares.

However, team doctor Herman Rossouw is optimistic about the centre saying Odendaal is recovering well from his rib injury and a call on his availability will be made later this week.

Meanwhile, Hendre Stassen left the field against the Jaguares with an ankle injury. He will undergo scans to reveal the damage, but he will not be in contention for this weekend.

The Blue Bulls Company also confirmed that Lodewyk de Jager's surgery went well and that they wish Lizo Gqoboka well for his surgery later this week.
