Bulls get some beef back for tour

The Bulls received a timely boost ahead of their four-match Australasian Super Rugby tour.

Werner Kruger, Jacques-Louis Potgieter and Dean Greyling have been added to the touring squad for the overseas leg of their campaign.

Kruger has recovered from an ankle injury after several weeks on the sidelines, while Potgieter (hamstring) and Greyling (leg injury from a car crash) was also declared fit.

Also cleared to tour were scrumhalf Rudy Paige (knee) and Burger Odendaal (ankle).

With Piet van Zyl out, Andre Warner will tour as third scrumhalf, the Blue Bulls and UP-Tuks' first participation in the squad.

Travis Ismaiel will also tour as the extra outside back.

The Bulls play the Blues in Auckland on May 15 and the Chiefs in Rotorua on May 22, before they cross the Tasman Sean for the Australian leg of the trip.

They then face the Brumbies in Canberra on May 29 and the Rebels in Melbourne on June 6, before returning home.
