Ferreira out with hand injury

Ferreira sustained the injury during his team's 27-73 loss to the Jaguares in Buenos Aires in Round 10.

"Schalk [Ferreira] will be going for scans today [Tuesday] and we should know the extent of his injury later in the week," said Southern Kings head coach Deon Davids.

Meanwhile, lock Schalk Oelofse could return to the side after missing the trip to Argentina because of concussion.

Davids said Oelofse has been evaluated by the medical team and would be returning to training this week.

The Kings are currently sitting at the bottom of Africa Conference Two after winning just one of the seven games so far this season.

After their encounter with the Blues, the Kings will play the Cheetahs and Sharks (both away) and then Jaguares at home before Super Rugby takes a break for the June international window.
