Jaguares 'recharged' for Sharks

The new outfit thrashed the Kings 73-27 in Buenos Aires in Round 10 to bag their second Super Rugby win and their first at home, and the Argentina international says that their bye and thorough training sessions this week has left them feeling refreshed for the their fixture against the Durban-based side.

"We got some rest to recharge our batteries and to spend some time with the family," said Leguizamón

"We had a busy week in terms of training and now we are 100 percent focused on the Sharks, focused on how hard it will be.

"Of course we know the demands and what they [Sharks] are as a team, especially in defence, but we're going to focus on what we have to do.

"We can't make mistakes or fall into potholes or lose concentration and we need to be more consistant and try to do what we planned.

"What we practice has to bear fruit in the game - we have to play like we train and even better."

The 33-year-old reflected on their match against the Kings and said that their emotional state going into the game was good and admitted that they have a number of problem areas to focus on if they want another winning result.

"The intensity, desire, attitude and willingness to play was very good against the Kings," he said.

"Of course there are always things to improve and we need to refine our work on defence.

"We have to form a good defensive line and not miss one-on-one tackles.

Leguizamón also expressed the differences between northern hemisphere rugby and Super Rugby and highlighted the southern hemisphere competition's physical demands.

"You have to play in tough matches every weekend and there's a lot of mental work involved," he said.

"And, unlike Europe, Super Rugby's physical demands are even greater because of the added travel requirements, which is something that doesn't happen in France or England.

"But we have to understand that it is a privilege to be part of this team and this championship.

"You have to enjoy and try to make this a learning process."
