Kings back to 'full strength'

All of the Kings' players who missed their opening match - an 8-43 loss to the Sharks at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium - have been cleared to play against the New Zealand powerhouse outfit and two-time champions.

Kings coach Deon Davids said prop Jacobie Adriaanse, who had suffered a concussion in the pre-season clash against the SWD Eagles, is available.

And scrumhalf Kevin Luiters, who has been battling with a tight calf, is also among those returning to the team.

Jaco van Tonder has also been cleared following his rehabilitation from an ACL injury sustained last year.

Louis Fouche and Aidon Davis, both of whom were recovering from knee operations, have also started training.

The Kings had a bye last week, after their opening round loss.
