Lions' Bok on a good recovery path
INJURY UPDATE: Springbok Jaco Kriel seems well on his way to making a full return to the field for the Lions when Super Rugby resumes in South Africa.
Kriel, who rejoined the Lions in February, has been recovering following ankle surgery in December.
The Springbok sustained the injury while playing for Gloucester in the European Cup.
Since he returned to Ellis Park the loose forward has been hard at work trying to regain his fitness and the Lions revealed that Kriel is currently undergoing agility training.
The 30-year-old is set to undergo medical testing this week, the franchise confirmed.

Vincent Tshituka (ankle surgery) and Rhyno Herbst (shoulder surgery) are the other two players recovering from long-term injuries they sustained prior to lockdown.
Tshituka, like Kriel, is busy with agility training, while Herbst is doing plyometric exercises.
The Lions trio will be monitored week by week.
